Buenos Aires, The Argentine Association of Polo (AAP) has officially launched the 2025 edition of the Triple Crown, the most prestigious series in international polo. The announcement was made during a press conference at the AAP headquarters in Pilar, where tournament dates, team lineups, and match draws were revealed for the Hurlingham Open, Tortugas Open, and Argentine Open.

Tournament Schedule

The season begins with the Hurlingham Open on September 23, followed by the Tortugas Open on October 7, and culminating in the Argentine Open Championship at Palermo from October 31 to December 6.

Opening Matches – Hurlingham Open

The first round of the Hurlingham Open will feature four key matchups:

  • La Natividad-La Dolfina vs. La Hache Cría & Polo
  • Ellerstina-Indios Chapaleufú vs. Los Machitos
  • La Irenita vs. La Hache
  • UAE vs. La Ensenada

Winners will advance to the semifinals. The results will also determine league placements for the Tortugas Open.

Argentine Open League Draws

The draw for the 130th Argentine Open Championship includes two leagues:

League A

  • La Natividad-La Dolfina
  • UAE
  • Los Machitos
  • Sol de Agosto
  • Winner of Qualification League A

Team Highlights

La Natividad-La Dolfina enters the season with a full 40-goal lineup featuring Adolfo and Poroto Cambiaso alongside Camilo and Bartolomé Castagnola. Other top contenders include La Irenita-La Hache (37 goals), El Overo Z7 UAE (37), and Ellerstina-Indios Chapaleufú (36), which features Facundo and Gonzalo Pieres with Antonio and Cruz Heguy.
