Authorities have officially lifted all evacuation alerts related to the Kingston wildfire, signaling a return to safety for several affected regions.

The Justice and Public Safety department confirmed that the following areas are now cleared for re-entry:

  • Western Bay (Unincorporated)
  • Ochre Pit Cove (Unincorporated)
  • Burnt Point–Gull Island–Northern Bay (Unincorporated)
  • Kingston (Unincorporated)
  • Town of Small Point–Broad Cove–Blackhead–Adam’s Cove

Residents are encouraged to stay informed through the province’s official alert portal and follow updates via the Government of Newfoundland and Labrador’s social media channels.

This marks a significant step forward in the province’s wildfire response, as emergency teams continue to monitor conditions and support recovery efforts.
