Washington, D.C., The U.S. Department of State has published its 2025 Trafficking in Persons (TIP) Report, offering a comprehensive assessment of global efforts to combat human trafficking and protect victims.
Secretary of State Antony Blinken emphasized that the report serves as both a diplomatic tool and a moral compass, urging governments, civil society, and international organizations to strengthen prevention, prosecution, and survivor support. He called trafficking “a stain on our collective conscience” and reaffirmed the U.S. commitment to advancing justice and accountability worldwide.
The 2025 edition highlights country-specific progress and challenges, including legal reforms, victim services, and law enforcement coordination. It also features survivor voices and best practices aimed at dismantling trafficking networks and empowering vulnerable communities.
The TIP Report remains a cornerstone of U.S. foreign policy on human rights, guiding partnerships and funding decisions while promoting transparency and international cooperation.
