Yerevan The European Union and the Republic of Armenia convened their fourth Joint Research and Innovation Committee meeting, marking a new phase in bilateral scientific cooperation under the Horizon Europe program.
Strengthening Strategic Collaboration
The meeting brought together senior officials from the European Commission and Armenia’s Ministry of Education, Science, Culture and Sports. Discussions focused on:
- Armenia’s integration into Horizon Europe, the EU’s flagship research and innovation funding program.
- Joint priorities in areas such as digital transformation, climate resilience, and advanced manufacturing.
- Capacity building for Armenian researchers and institutions to increase participation in EU-funded projects.
