In a landmark diplomatic breakthrough, Armenia and Azerbaijan have officially signed a peace agreement, ending decades of conflict in the South Caucasus. The deal was brokered by U.S. President Donald Trump, with Secretary of State Marco Rubio announcing the accord in a press statement.

“This is a pivotal moment,” Rubio said. “The United States celebrates this historic peace deal, which opens the door to economic growth and regional stability.”

The agreement is expected to unlock new trade opportunities and foster prosperity not only for Armenia and Azerbaijan, but also for American interests in the region. The U.S. government hailed the deal as the beginning of a new era of cooperation and peace.
