In a high-level meeting held in Washington, D.C., Canadian officials led by Justice Minister Sean Fraser, Public Safety Minister Gary Anandasangaree, and Fentanyl Czar Kevin Brosseau met with U.S. Attorney General Pamela Bondi to reinforce bilateral cooperation on justice and security.

The meeting focused on shared priorities including:

  • Tackling fentanyl trafficking and transnational criminal networks
  • Enhancing border security and intelligence sharing
  • Supporting victims of crime and strengthening the rule of law

Officials from both countries committed to maintaining an ongoing dialogue and deepening departmental collaboration to protect communities on both sides of the border.
