Windsor, UK Belgium’s Gregory Wathelet delivered a thrilling victory in the CSI5* Rolex Grand Prix at the Royal Windsor Horse Show 2025, riding Bond Jamesbond de Hay to a razor-sharp win in a dramatic jump-off.
Wathelet was one of 13 riders to reach the final round, where speed and precision were everything. Dutch rider Harrie Smolders set the pace with a blistering clear round aboard Uricas v/d Kattevennen. But Wathelet, known for his fearless style, shaved 0.06 seconds off Smolders’ time, clinching the title with a daring gallop to the final oxer.
