WASHINGTON, D.C., August 26 — Former First Lady Melania Trump has unveiled the Presidential Artificial Intelligence (AI) Challenge, a nationwide initiative inviting K–12 students and educators across the United States to explore the transformative potential of artificial intelligence.

In a video message shared on AI.gov, Trump reflected on her personal experience with AI while producing her audiobook, emphasizing both the promise and risks of emerging technologies. She described AI as “the engine driving every business sector across our economy,” urging young Americans to take the lead in shaping its future.

The challenge is designed to introduce students to foundational AI concepts, encourage ethical innovation, and foster national leadership in tech literacy. Participants will engage in hands-on projects, mentorship opportunities, and showcase events aimed at bridging education and industry.
