The Honourable Mandy Gull-Masty, Canada’s Minister of Indigenous Services, will visit the Naawi-Oodena urban reserve in Winnipeg to announce a new infrastructure initiative alongside Chief Gordon BlueSky, Chairperson of Treaty One Nations.

The announcement will take place at:

  • 🕙 Time: 10:00 a.m. CDT, Thursday, August 21

The Naawi-Oodena site, located on Treaty 1 Territory, represents one of Canada’s most significant urban Indigenous developments. The upcoming infrastructure project is expected to support community growth, cultural preservation, and long-term sustainability for Indigenous residents.
