Washington, D.C., NASA and the Australian Space Agency have signed a new Framework Agreement to deepen collaboration in aeronautics, space exploration, and Earth science, reinforcing the strategic partnership between the United States and Australia.

The agreement was signed by NASA Administrator Bill Nelson and Australian Ambassador to the U.S. Kevin Rudd, marking a significant step forward in joint missions, technology exchange, and scientific research. It builds on decades of cooperation, including Australia’s key role in supporting NASA’s Artemis program and lunar communications infrastructure.
